Deposit and withdrawal requests can be made from your Personal Area.
We accept various payment options to fund your account, including bank transfer, credit/debit card, and Neteller.
In order to make a deposit, first login to your account from the ActivTrades homepage by pressing the “Login” link at the top right-hand side of the page.
A login popup will appear where you can enter the email address you used to register an account with us, along with the password you chose at the time. If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it by pressing the “Forgot password?” link.
Once you have successfully logged in, you will be taken to your Personal Area, where you can manage all areas of your ActivTrades account.
The image below is what your personal area should look like, assuming that you have performed the necessary account verification procedure by sending us copies of a proof of address and proof of identity document, along with a selfie.
If you have not provided these documents, your account is still open, but incomplete. Your “Real Accounts” (top right of the image below) will read 0, and the deposit box (the yellow rectangle in the image below) will be greyed-out.
You will not be able to deposit funds or trade with anything other than a demo account if you do not complete your account verification. This is because, as a regulated financial services provider, we are obliged to perform KYC (know your customer) and AML (anti-money laundering) checks on our clients. This is also for your own protection, as it makes it difficult for someone to create an account under your name by impersonating you.
By pressing the “Deposit” button in the “Fund your account” section of your Personal Area (yellow rectangle), you will be taken to our main deposit page, which appears as in the image below.
From here, choose your preferred method of payment and press the “Deposit” button to be forwarded to the relevant page where you can continue to fund your ActivTrades account.
Please be advised that there is currently no minimum deposit, other than for Chinese and Brazilian customers, for whom a minimum deposit of $500 still applies. This applies to global (.com) clients, UK (co.uk) clients, and European (.eu) clients.
Credit/Debit Card Deposits
By pressing “Deposit” in the credit/debit card section of the main deposit page, you will be forwarded to the following page.
By filling in the details of the above form, you can add your chosen credit/debit card into your Personal Area. This includes your card’s details, as well as the billing address that is attached to that particular credit/debit card. When you have filled in the form, press the “Add Card” button to be forwarded to the following page.
From this page you can select the ActivTrades account you would like to fund, as well as the amount you would like to deposit, and press the “Next” button to make payment. Alternatively, you can add other cards to your Personal Area, as well as editing the details of existing cards, or deleting them entirely.
Bank Transfer Deposit
If you prefer to fund your ActivTrades account via Bank Wire, simply press the “Deposit” button on the Bank Transfer section of the main deposit page. This will bring up the following page, which contains a list of bank account details that you can use to wire funds directly to your ActivTrades account without the use of a debit/credit card.
As you can see above, we offer three banking options for deposits via bank transfer. Please ensure that you use the correct account number for the base currency that you are attempting to fund your account with.
The first one (Westpac Banking Corporation) offers euro, pound sterling and US dollar deposits. The second one (Citibank N.A New York) offers just US dollar deposits, and the third one (Citibank N.A London) offers euro, Swiss franc, and sterling deposits. You can press the “+” icon on the right of each option to bring up its details.
If you prefer to fund your ActivTrades account using the Neteller service, please press the “Deposit” button from the Neteller section of the main deposit page. This will take you to our dedicated Neteller deposit area, which appears as follows.
On this page, you can enter your Neteller account, select the specific ActivTrades account you would like to fund via Neteller, and the amount you would like to deposit. Once this is done, press the “Next” button in order to complete the transaction.
Yes, we do. ActivTrades offers free demo accounts on which you can practice your trading techniques and strategies in a risk-free environment.
To open a demo account, go to the ActivTrades home page and click on the "Try Free Demo" button. You will be prompted to choose between three platforms: Metatrader 4, Metatrader 5 and ActivTrader.
Afterwards, you will need to provide your full name, phone number and valid email address (for both MetaTrader 4 and 5), or if you choose ActivTrader you only have to click on "Try Now", and you will be taken directly to our virtual trading simulator.
As part of our regulatory requirements, we're obliged to conduct KYC/AML checks on all of our clients.
This involves verifying your identity and location, and can be done by supplying us with a copy of a valid ID document and a recent utility bill. The requested documents may differ depending on your country of residence, and we may be required to request more than just a single proof-of-address and proof-of-identity document.
Once these have been received and verified by the ActivTrades team, you will be able to make your first deposit.
